  • Joy : A Godly Womans Adornment

    $14.99

This new On-the-Go Devotional addresses a universal challenge: finding joy in today’s world. God’s Word tells us of all that is ours through his Son. Our security is guaranteed, our provision is sure. In the face of such abundant life, why is our joy so often stolen from us? Undoubtedly we pass through seasons of difficulSto pursue joy in seasons of both plenty and need? This newest addition to a series of small devotional books for women teaches that we will only find perpetual joy when we pursue Christ. Brownback helps women understand that their joy is not circumstantial, but built on the promises of God and the work of Jesus. Forty-two short devotionals look to Scripture for words of encouragement, correction, wisdom, and guidance to help women adorn themselves with joy.

  • Fossil Record : Unearthing Natures History Of Life

    $19.99

The debate over creation and evolution shows no sign of letting up. Many have become aware that this is a seminal issue-perhaps the most important of our day. They see it as a worldview battleground, one that cannot be ignored.

Most people in the Western world know only the evolutionary interpretation of earth’s history. Naturalism enjoys a virtual monopoly in today’s classrooms, while instructors who have been schooled only in a naturalistic worldview play the part of evolutionary evangelists.

The Fossil Record thoroughly examines the evidence to determine which worldview-creation or evolution-presents the most accurate portrayal of earth’s early history. Did life spontaneously generate and then mutate over millions of years, or was life supernaturally created at one time and in the basic forms that exist today? Geologist Dr. John Morris and zoologist Frank Sherwin describe what should be found in the fossil record for each theory and then look at the record to see what it actually reveals.

What they find is that the claim that fossils document evolution is simply not true. The fossil record presents a very different message, one supportive of the creation worldview. It speaks of exquisite design in every once-living thing, not random development solely through natural processes. There is no hint of an evolutionary “simple to complex” history, for life was complex from the very start. The fossils testify to the biblical history of recent creation, the Curse due to Adam’s sin, and the great Flood of Noah’s day.

The evolutionary interpretation of the fossil record holds power only if the alternative is censored. But censorship is not truth; there is a better way to think. Adopting evolutionary naturalism as one’s faith and guideline for life makes no sense if there is a God who has spoken. This book can help you examine the evidence and discover the Creator of all things.

Readers anxiously await the second book in this moving series filled with mystery and family secrets, love and loss, heartbreak and healing.
Twenty-one-year-old Grace Byler longs to find her missing mother and to uncover the secret that drove her to leave them three weeks before. But when the young Amishman she thought was courting her best friend takes a sudden interest in her, Grace is befuddled and wonders if he can be trusted.

“Englisher” Heather Lang has come to Amish country to relive fond memories of her mother and to contemplate a grave medical prognosis of her own. While in Bird-in-Hand, Heather meets Grace Byler and the two young women strike up a fast friendship, amazed by how well they click.

  • Matter : Its Properties And Its Changes

    $9.99

This exciting series is built around three components: good science, creation apologetics, and Bible references.

Science is a great area to teach, because children have a natural curiosity about the world. They want to know why and how things work, what things are made of, and where they came from. The trick is to tap into their curiosity so they want to find answers.

Many elementary level science lessons begin with definitions and scientific explanations, followed by an activity. A more effective method is to reverse this order and begin with an activity whenever possible, and the lessons found in these books begin with an investigations, followed by scientific explanations and opportunities to apply the knowledge to other situations.

In addition to the investigations, there are sections on creation apologetics, written mostly in narrative forms, connections to Bible references, on-your-own challenges; pause and think questions; projects and contests; and historical stories about scientists and engineers. These sections encourage students to think more critically, to put scientific ideas into perspective, to learn more about how science works, to gain some expertise in a few areas, and to become more grounded in their faith in the Bible.

    $9.99

If your spouse, or someone you know, has been deployed recently, the stress of that situation will resonate with you. Jocelyn Green speaks directly to the wives of deployed seamen, marines, airmen, and soldiers, via the experiences of their spouses. This book is not a “ten easy steps” for a painless life, instead, it is a collection of devotions that squarely addresses the challenges wives face when their husbands are away protecting freedom. Challenges like: how does a military wife maintain a strong sense of patriotism without allowing her country to become an idol? What good can possibly come from moving every two to three years? And how can I be sure that God has a purpose for my life that is as strong as His purpose for my husband’s? The foundation of this devotional is the unchanging character of God and the anchor of Jesus Christ, even amidst the shifting circumstances of a military family.

Timothy S. Lane explains that our strategies for dealing with guilt don’t work because guilt is not just a bad feeling. It’s a real problem between us and God. Depending on Jesus to restore your relationship with God is the only way to be truly free from the guilt and shame that weighs you down. Discover how to step into the forgiveness and freedom that Jesus offers you.

Is a personal God really involved in our suffering? And if he is, what in the world is he up to? Why would a good God allow suffering in his world?

William P. Smith addresses these and other hard questions by reflecting on what the Bible teaches about suffering. Instead of pat answers, he shares the different ways God uses suffering to bring us into a deeper, more intimate relationship with him. You can learn to see the good that God brings out of suffering and be thankful-not for the suffering itself, but for God and his involvement in your life.
